Setting Up Family Makeup Booking

Let families schedule their outstanding makeup credits from the Family Portal.

   Open Family Portal settings

   Click Settings in the sidebar, open the Family Portal tab, and find the Makeup Booking card.

   Allow families to book their own makeups

   Toggle on Allow families to book their own makeup lessons. Families with outstanding makeup credits can then schedule those makeups from the portal. Changes save automatically.

   Choose who makeups can be booked with

   Under Who makeups can be booked with, pick The student's own teacher only (the default) or Any teacher who teaches that instrument. In the second mode, only teachers you mark as available for makeup booking are offered — see Making a Teacher Available for Makeup Booking.

   Set the makeup deadline

   Under Makeup deadline, choose Time in advance or Specific cutoff time — the same kinds of options as the cancellation deadline. Slots past the deadline won't appear for families.
