Making a Teacher Available for Makeup Booking
Let families book makeups with a specific teacher when your studio allows any-teacher makeup booking.

Open the teacher's profile
Click Teachers in the sidebar, then select the teacher.

Edit their details
Click the pencil icon (Edit Teacher Details). The Edit Staff Details panel opens.

Turn on makeup booking for this teacher
Find the Makeup Booking section and toggle on Available for Makeup Booking. Click Save Changes.
Tips
- This toggle only matters when Family Portal makeup booking is set to Any teacher who teaches that instrument. If makeups always go to the student's own teacher, you can leave this off.
- Turn on family makeup booking first in Settings — see Setting Up Family Makeup Booking.
- Setting the teacher's weekly Availability gives families clearer time slots to pick from.
