Booking a Makeup in the Family Portal
How a family schedules an outstanding makeup credit from the portal.

Open your schedule
Sign in at app.musicdesk.io and click Schedule. Your My Schedule calendar shows your children's lessons.

Open the makeup banner
If your studio allows makeup booking and you have credits, a banner says You have 1 makeup lesson to schedule (or more). Each credit lists the student, instrument, teacher, duration, and the missed lesson date.

Tap Book makeup
Tap Book makeup on the credit you want to use. The Book a makeup lesson panel opens.

Choose student, teacher, and a time
If you're asked, pick who to Book this makeup for and which Teacher. Then choose an available time slot.

Confirm
Tap Confirm makeup. You'll see Makeup lesson booked! and the lesson appears on your calendar with a makeup marker.
Tips
- If no times are listed, there may be no openings in the next few weeks, or those slots are past your studio's makeup deadline.
- If you cancel a makeup you booked, the credit is available again to rebook.
