Managing a Family's Subscription

Pause, cancel, resume, or update a family's billing subscription.

    Open the family's billing page

    Go to Subscriptions in the sidebar. Find the family and click Manage to see their enrollment and billing details.

    Choose an action

    Each enrollment row has action buttons depending on the subscription's current state. Common actions include:

    Pause Subscription — Temporarily stop billing (useful for summer breaks)
    Cancel Subscription — Cancel at the end of the billing period, or cancel immediately
    Resume Subscription — Restart a paused subscription
    Undo Cancel — Reverse a pending cancellation
    Retry Payment — Retry a failed payment
    Update Payment Method — Send the family a link to update their card

    Confirm the action

    Most actions open a confirmation dialog. Review the details, then click the confirmation button (e.g., Confirm Pause, Confirm Resume). Changes take effect at the next billing cycle unless you choose to cancel immediately.

Tips

  • Pausing a subscription is great for summer breaks — the family's account stays active without being charged.
  • You can send a card update link if a family's payment method has expired or failed.
