Scheduling
Scheduling Recurring Lessons
Set up weekly recurring lessons and handle individual exceptions.
- 1
Create a new lesson
Follow the steps to add a new lesson (teacher, students, event type, date, and time).
- 2
Set frequency to recurring
Under Frequency, select recurring event. Choose the recurrence pattern: daily, weekly, monthly, or yearly. Most music lessons use weekly.
- 3
Set the interval and end date
For weekly lessons, choose whether it repeats every week, every 2 weeks, or every 3 weeks. You can check repeat indefinitely or set a specific End Date.
- 4
Save the series
Click Add Lesson(s). All occurrences will be created on your calendar.
- 5
Edit or cancel individual occurrences
Click on any single lesson in the series. When you edit or delete, you'll be asked whether to apply changes to Only this event or This and future events, so you can handle individual exceptions without affecting the whole series.
Tips
- •Recurring lessons are the easiest way to set up a consistent weekly schedule.
- •When you reschedule one occurrence, only that single lesson is moved — the rest of the series stays unchanged.
- •Trial lessons cannot be set to recurring — they are always one-time events.
