They open your booking page
The page title is Book a Trial Lesson. If public booking is off, they see Online booking is not currently available.
- 2
They pick teacher, instrument, and a time
The widget walks through Select a Teacher, Select an Instrument, then Select Date & Time. They tap Continue to Contact Info. A teacher's direct link skips the teacher list.
- 3
They enter contact details
On Your Information they see a Booking Summary, then the form. Required: Student Name (or Your Name if they check I am an adult student booking for myself), Parent/Guardian Name (unless they're an adult), Phone Number, and Email Address. Optional: How did you hear about us? and Additional Notes.
- 4
They confirm
They tap Book Trial Lesson and see Booking Confirmed! MusicDesk emails them a confirmation, and notifies your studio and the teacher. The studio email includes Contact Phone:.
- 5
You see the trial on the schedule
The lesson is added as a trial student on your Schedule, with a 🌐 prefix so you can tell it came from public booking. Additional Notes are saved as admin-only Student Notes on that student.
Tips
- There is no separate setting to collect a phone number — Phone Number is always required on the form.
- Studio owner? Start with Setting Up Your Public Booking Page.
