Setting Up a New Instrument Rental
Create a rental for a family and record the instrument they're taking home.

Create a rental product first
In Settings > Products, add a product with category Instrument Rentals — see Creating a Product.

Open Rentals
Click Rentals in the sidebar. Click New Rental, choose the family, and continue — or open an existing family and click Manage.

Add the instrument
On the family's rental page, click Add Rental. In Add Instrument Rental, choose the Rental product, then fill in Instrument description, optional Serial number, Accessories included, Estimated value, Condition out, and Notes.

Save
Click Add Rental. The rental starts as Pending until you activate it and the family has a card on file.
Tips
- You can also open a family under Families and use the Rentals card's Manage link.
