Making a Teacher Available for Public Booking
Configure which teachers appear on your public booking page and set their availability.

Open the teacher's profile
Go to Teachers in the sidebar, then click on the teacher you want to make available for public booking.

Edit their profile
Click Edit Teacher Details on their profile card. Scroll down to the Public Booking section.

Enable public booking for this teacher
Toggle on Available for Public Booking. When enabled, this teacher will appear on your public booking page for visitors to select. Click Save Changes.

Set their availability hours
Back on the teacher's profile, find the Availability card. Click the edit icon to configure their weekly availability. For each day, set the start time and end time that this teacher is available for bookings. Click Save. Setting availability is optional, but recommended — it gives you the most control over when visitors can book. Verify it's working
After saving, the teacher's profile card will show a Public badge, confirming they'll appear on your public booking page for visitors to choose from.

Share a teacher's direct booking link
Each teacher who is available for public booking also gets their own direct booking link. On the teacher's profile card, click the link icon next to the Public badge (Copy direct booking link) — it copies a URL like
book.musicdesk.io/your-studio?teacher=.... When a prospective family opens it, they skip the list of all teachers and go straight to booking with that specific teacher, picking from that teacher's instruments and available time slots. It's ideal for sharing with a family interested in one particular teacher, or for linking to an individual teacher from your website.
Tips
- Public booking must also be enabled in Settings for the booking page to work — toggling a teacher alone isn't enough.
- The main booking URL lists all your bookable teachers, while a teacher's direct link takes visitors straight to just that one — use whichever fits where you're sharing it.
- When a trial is booked with a teacher, that teacher automatically receives an email notification about the booking — so they're always in the loop.
