Adding a Student

Add a new student to your studio roster along with their family information.

    Go to Students

    Click Students in the sidebar to view your student list.

    Click Add Student

    Click the Add Student button. A panel will open with three sections: Student Information, Family Information, and Teacher Information.

    Enter student information

    Select whether the student is a Child or Adult. Enter their First Name and Last Name. For adult students, you can add their email directly. Set their initial status (e.g., Active, Trial, or Lead).

    Set up family information

    Choose New Family to create a new family record, or Existing Family to link the student to a family already in your system. For a new family with a child student, enter the Primary Contact First Name, Last Name, Email, and optionally their phone number and address.

    Assign a teacher (optional)

    Under Teacher Information, you can optionally Assign a Teacher from the dropdown. This links the student to a specific teacher for scheduling.

    Save

    Click Add Student. You'll see a confirmation: New student added! You'll be taken to their profile where you can schedule their first lesson.

Tips

  • If a student with the same name already exists, you'll see a duplicate warning. You can choose to add them anyway or cancel.
  • Child students automatically inherit their family's contact information for communications.
